Flora Day 2026. Another Special Day in Helston
Every year, Flora Day reminds you just how special Helston really is.
And on the 8th May, the town was once again packed with people lining the streets from early morning onwards. Families returning home. Visitors experiencing it for the first time. Locals enjoying themselves and making the most of the day. Music filling the streets from morning until night. And an atmosphere that is difficult to describe unless you have experienced it yourself.
For us, one of the highlights of the day is always the Midday Dance passing directly through our office.
As the dancers approached, the noise from the crowds outside built quickly. Then suddenly the whole office was filled with music, cheering, laughter and complete chaos in the best possible way.
It is one of those moments that genuinely stops you in your tracks.
Watching the streets packed once again this year was a reminder of how much pride people have in Helston and why so many people choose to call this part of Cornwall home.
We feel incredibly lucky to have our office positioned right in the heart of it all and to experience moments like this every single year.
Thank you to everyone who stopped inside and outside of the office, waved through the windows, spoke to the team or simply helped create such an amazing atmosphere throughout the day.
